“I am often accused of being childish…”

“I prefer to interpret that as child-like. I still get wildly enthusiastic about little things.  I tend to exaggerate and fantasize and embellish. I still listen to instinctual urges.  I play with leaves. I skip down the street and run against the wind. I never water my garden without soaking myself. It has been after such times of joy that I have achieved my greatest creativity and produced my best work.” ~Leo F. Buscaglia, Bus 9 to Paradise

“Let’s agree to disagree.”

So I watched MIB3 a few days ago, and it was actually preeeetty good. Definitely recommend it.

And in the end, I haven’t even seen the Avengers yet. :( Captain America… What a sad life, this is.

It’s HOMEWORK TIME!… Again. -___-‘

Now that summer break is finally here, and I’ve fully rested from the oh-so-awful Spring semester, it’s time to start on my Com Design passport assignment. This project consists of completing various requirements such as going to different art galleries, going to a Com Design related conference, watching a few movies, reading a couple short stories, go to theatrical events, collect design related sources, blah blah blah… and document it all in a folder/binder/sketchbook/something. I chose a black small sketchbook. Can’t go wrong with black: simple, classy, and professional.

Well, as of right now, I’ve already:

  1. Eaten at 3 ethnic food restaurants (Greek, Thai, and Korean),
  2. Subscribed to the 2 required publications Print Magazine and Communication Arts,
  3. Gone to the Dalllas Museum of Art once,
  4. Watched Adaptation., one of the 2 movies that I’m required to watch,
  5. Watched a foreign film, Les Choristes (well, I’ve watched that one a long time ago…)
  6. Read an American short story (Mark Twain’s 1,000,000,000 Pound Bank Note),
  7. And bought my ticket to the DSVC show on Saturday. (Wooo!)

I’ve completed about a third of the requirements.. so I’ma try and get the rest done by this end of this month… hopefully. *crosses fingers

So I watched the Dictator…

Well, I liked it. It’s definitely not the most courteous movie out there, but the random jokes kept me laughing throughout the movie. Yeah, I’m not a fan of sexual humor, and those particular scenes sorta grossed me out… Maybe I just have a weird sense of humor… Or maybe this movie is only funny to people like me who had 7 Arab nannies.

Those little things that make life worth it…

Sleeping to beautiful music. Tonight, I opted for Kpop ballads with Huh Gak (I have his song “Hello” on repeat). :) It’s been a while since I’ve listened to Kpop, but now that I’ve gotten back to it, it’s pretty nice once in a while.

Lalalaalalaaaaaa~

Deal with it.

I don’t know a thing about make-up. I find padded bras and push-up bras uncomfortable. I get excited at the sight of buffets. I prefer red meat over veggies. I like sporting sweatpants on my lazy and not-as-lazy days. I love fast food. I bite my nails. I sing along the Spongebob opening song. I hardly ever straighten my hair. I laugh like a drain. I whine a lot. I like my room messy… an organized mess, as I like to call it.

I might not be the classiest, but I’m still a girl.
